Branding & Logo Design in Birmingham: Brands Built to Last

Logos, visual identities and brand guidelines for businesses in Birmingham and across the UK. We start by understanding where your business is going, then design a brand that gets you there and works everywhere, from your website to your van. Branding projects start from £750, and every file is yours on delivery.

Branding agency in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter

Curious House is a digital studio on Hockley Hill in the Jewellery Quarter. We design logos, visual identities and brand guidelines for startups, trades, professional services and growing businesses across Birmingham and the wider UK.

Good branding is not decoration. It is how people recognise you, trust you and remember you. Whether you need logo design in Birmingham, a full rebrand or brand design experts who understand small business budgets, we start with strategy and finish with files your team can actually use.

Who branding is for

You are launching and need to look credible on day one. You are outgrowing a DIY logo from a template site. You are merging businesses, changing direction or entering a more competitive market. You are about to invest in a new website and want colours, typography and imagery that work online and offline.

We work with founders who want a brand that feels like them, not a generic mark pulled from a marketplace. If you already have a strong identity, we can refine it rather than start again.

What is included in a brand identity project?

Every project is scoped to your stage, but a typical identity package includes discovery, creative direction, logo design, colour palette, typography, basic imagery direction and a concise brand guide.

Larger engagements add messaging, tone of voice, stationery, social templates, signage art-working and a UI kit so your web design and app screens stay consistent. We design in Figma and Adobe CC and hand over editable source files plus exports for web, print and social.

How much does logo design cost?

Logo and brand identity projects start from £750 for a logo, colour palette, typography and a concise brand guide. Full brand systems with strategy, messaging and marketing collateral cost more; we quote clearly before we start and there are no surprise licence fees.

For a deeper breakdown of what drives price, read our guide on what is included in a brand identity (and what it costs). For a real example, see the Light House Financial case study or Auri Wellness, where identity, website and booking were designed as one system.

Our branding process

Discovery comes first: we learn who you serve, what you stand for and where you are heading. Concept rounds follow with mood boards and directions you can react to. We refine the chosen route until it works at every size, from favicon to van livery. Delivery means guidelines, assets and a tidy handover so your printer, marketer or developer does not have to guess.

Most projects take one to two weeks. Larger systems take longer; we agree timelines upfront and keep you in the loop with shared boards and regular check-ins.

Branding and your website

A website built on weak branding often looks unfinished, no matter how good the code is. When we design sites in-house, brand and UX are planned together: typography scales, button styles, photography treatment and tone of voice on key pages.

If you do not yet have a logo, colours and fonts, many website projects start with identity work. Once the brand is signed off, we carry it through to launch so everything matches.

What you receive

You receive editable source files, exported assets for web and print, and guidelines your team can follow. The brand is yours on delivery: no ongoing licensing traps, no locked accounts. We are happy to advise on rollout, from business cards to vehicle graphics, as a follow-on or as part of a larger scope.

Logo usage rules, colour palette, typography, imagery direction and tone of voice. Everything a designer, printer or developer needs to keep your brand consistent.

How long does a branding project take?

Most branding projects take 1 to 2 weeks. Larger or more complex brand systems take a little longer. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.

Do you design print and marketing materials?

Yes. Business cards, brochures, signage and packaging. We can handle print collateral as part of the project or separately. Just ask.
